I need a solution
So I feel like a bit of a tool. I'm trying to create my golden image and I have used Acronis. Here was the way I have been doing the imaging previously.
Create VM
Boot to audit mode
Install apps, change settings, yada, yada, yada
Button up and shut down with Sysprep in OOBE
Boot to Acronis USB
